8h00: Take a car or bus to the National Park, stop to visit the Hospital cave.

The cave has been a pride of Vietnam’s military medical team since the war. Today, although the hospital is no longer there, its historical value remains.

9h30: The bus and tour guide take to Cat Ba National Park. Start hiking in 4-5 hours through the mountain rainforests; enjoy birth watching, sightseeing in the pristine forest and Frog Lake. Along the way you have a chance to see native cats, squirrels, spotted deer, snakes, thousands of butterflies, and if you’re lucky, a Cat Ba Langur.

13h30: Arrive at a remote Viet Hai village have lunch at a local house with home cooked food then walk around and meet the friendly local people who live within the National Park.

15h30: Ride a bicycle pass the rice field and valleys to the dock, then take a boat to visit Lan Ha Bay.

Optional swim at a secluded beach.

17h00: Return to Beo harbor then back to Cat Ba Town.

Price: 45 US$ per person in a small group from 8-15 people.
